and Music Composer 

Rich Martin is a sound engineer specialising in sound design and music for television. He also writes and arranges music for broadcast, having provided the soundtrack for channel identities across a wide range of networks including Channel 4, E4, Film4, More4, BBC Four, BBC Three, BBC Knowledge, SYFY, Discovery, Dave, Sky Crime, and Sky Nature.

His work has contributed to some of advertising’s most recognisable campaigns, earning accolades including Black and Yellow Pencils, Arrows, and Cannes Lions. He has received multiple Gold awards from the Music+Sound Awards, British Arrows, and the Creative Circle.

Rich has served as a judge for several major industry juries, including D&AD, the British Arrows (Craft), AICP, the Music+Sound Awards, Promax, Creative Circle, and Creativepool.

Beyond the studio, he was Head of Sound for the acclaimed immersive theatre 2024/25 production of You Me Bum Bum Train, where he worked with a team to design and deliver the show’s complex and site-specific audio environments. He also mixes front-of-house sound at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells and previously created and ran the internet radio station seeksmusic.com.
